Assalamu’Alaikum,

MCWAS will be distributing Zakat-ul Fitr received this year to local UK charities to support Muslim families in need, given an increase of those in hardship this year with the cost of living crisis.

The recommended Zakat-ul Fitr amount per person is £7.

If you would like for your Zakat-ul Fitr to be distributed through MCWAS please make payments online or at the centre via the collection box at the back of the main prayer hall by Wednesday 19th April 2023 at the latest. This is to ensure the Zakat is in the hands of those in need before the Eid prayer, as prescribed by our Prophet (PBUH).
