Imam Ghazali’s Bidayah al-Hidayah is a highly motivational manual detailing the fundamentals of acquiring guidance through God-consciousness (Taqwa) when seeking knowledge. Imam Ghazali argues that just as there is an end to this noble objective there is also a beginning to it, which must be made firm for one to achieve success. He then goes on to expound the fundamentals of this “beginning”.

🗣️ *Speaker:* *Ustadh Muhammad Ziyad Batha*

The Ustadh studied at a traditional Islamic seminary, where he memorised the Qur'an, achieved a degree in Islamic scholarship, and attained ijāzah in the seven qirā'āt. He also holds an MA in Islamic Studies from SOAS University of London along with Qualified Teacher Status.

Currently, he serves as a lecturer, TV presenter, writer/editor, and teacher of various Islamic sciences.
