NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP) at MCWAS
MCWAS hosts the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP)
Xyla Health & Wellbeing are delivering a tailored pilot programme to help people who are at risk of developing Type 2 diabetes, which is largely caused by lifestyle factors that can be modified.
Throughout the programme participants will learn how to prevent Type 2 diabetes by incorporating healthier eating, physical activity, problem-solving, stress-reduction and coping skills into their daily lives.
Having tried to run the programme previously the aim is to deliver a joint group session for all participants to attend face to face.
