Assalamu’Alaikum,

MCWAS has an amazing golden opportunity to purchase a four bedroom bungalow on Ruskin Road which is adjacent to the Centre. This opportunity was presented to us at the beginning of this blessed month of Ramadan.

The Board invited members to an open consultation following which a decision was made to pursue the acquisition of the property. The property purchase would allow MCWAS to secure another adjacent property for the Centre for future additional service provision and income generation in line with the medium-long term strategic objectives of MCWAS.

We are pleased to announce that last Friday, April 14th 2023 our bid was accepted through auction, Alhamdul'illah. The estimated total cost of the purchase & renovation is £600,000. We will use existing MCWAS cash reserves of £300,000 towards the purchase.

‼️ *We are calling on the generous support of the community to raise the remaining £300,000. With your help we can collectively ensure the future growth of the MCWAS community for generations to come.* ‼️
