History of Palestine 🇵🇸

Join us as we explore the rich heritage of the Palestinian narrative, spanning centuries of cultural heritage, struggles, and resilience. We will uncover the layers of history that have shaped Palestine, from ancient civilizations to modern complexities, in a compelling journey through time.

🗣️ *Speaker:* Shaykh Omar Hajaj is originally from Yaffa (Jaffa), Palestine 🇵🇸, born and raised in the UK with a deep connection to these blessed lands.

Shaykh Omar studied Anthropology in university followed by gaining a BA degree from the faculty of Shariah in the Islamic University of Madina.

He has been involved with working with a number of Islamic organizations for over a decade, he was previously the general manager of the popular Islamic magazine - Al Jumuah, youth director of Al Muntada Al Islami, executive committee member of FOSIS and the PR manager at MRDF.

He has led on national pro-justice campaigns in the UK. He is currently the founder and director of Yaseen Youth Development, a non-profit organisation that aims to inspire the youth through life-changing programmes.

He is currently one of the Imams, teachers, and khateebs at West London Islamic Cultural Centre in Parsons Green, London.
