*Ilm Hub - Children's Classes*
We are excited to launch our new flagship educational programme for primary School children - *Ilm Hub*
We know how important it is for us parents to provide an holistic Islamic education programme for our children and we also understand how difficult it can be to find an organisation that provides this service to an acceptable standard.
We hope the proven model/process adopted within Ilm Hub will provide parents the best approach, environment, teachers and content for our children.
Ilm Hub will be a structured programme based on using classical and contemporary teaching methods promising to be fun, engaging and interactive.
*Curriculum*
Our curriculum will focus on 3 foundational topics.
- Qaidah/Quran Reading
- Quran Memorisation
- Islamic Studies
For our reading curriculum, we will be using books from the well known Learning Roots series for all our age groups.
The Read and Rise series is a fun, fast and digital way to be fluent in Qur’an memorisation.
All students will commence with Juz Amma with books that are standardised using Uthmani script.
For our Islamic Studies curriculum, we will be using books from Safar Publications. This syllabus has been refined and improved over the past 15 years, from stories of the Prophets to lessons on patience and servitude aswell as reflecting on the challenges our youth face in 21st-century life. They have been shaped not only with Islamic theory and modern educational input but importantly practical feedback from teachers and students across the UK.
*Ability*
Classes will be split into three different age groups (year 2 - year 6, 7-12) and based on three ability levels.
*Going Digital*
We will use Chromebooks as well as other digital products to enhance the learning experience of the pupils and use Google classroom as our communication platform with parents or carers. We will update homework and keep you updated with your child's progress with regular assessments and annual reports.
*Provision*
We will offer two provisions/options for Ilm Hub:
*Weekday* option- this will take place 3 days a week on *Monday*, *Tuesday* and *Thursday* from *5 pm - 6.30 pm*.
*Saturday* option - this will take place on Saturday from *9:15am-1:15pm*
Ilm Hub will follow the mainstream School system, structured in 3 terms during the academic year. However, as we are starting in *January 2022* we will be offering two terms until the end of the academic year until *July 2022*.
*Fees*
Fees are *£220* per pupil for the two terms. This equates to only *£10 a week* or *£2.50 an hour*
We will have 3 qualified and experienced teachers as well as a coordinator on-site to manage the classes.
