Assalamu alaikum MCWAS Community,

This Ramadhan, as an extension of the daily Iftar Packs drive, MCWAS is pleased to accept your Zakat ul Fitr which will be distributed before the Eid ul Fitr prayer to local Muslim families in need.

The target amount to reach is £2,000 which will provide approximately 135 food packs containing essential food items.

The recommended amount per person is £5.

If you would like for your Zakat ul Fitr to be distributed through MCWAS please make payments online at www.mcwas.org/store/p/zakatul-fitr-1 by *Sunday 9th May* at the latest.

This is to ensure the Zakat is in the hands of those in need *before* the Eid prayer as prescribed by our Prophet (PBUH).

Any amount received in excess of £2,000 will be used to support additional families or passed to Islamic Relief, a UK registered charity organisation for Zakat ul Fitr distribution abroad.
