🚨 SCAM ALERT ⚠️

Assalamu’Alaikum,

Scammers are impersonating MCWAS, contacting individuals via phone calls or WhatsApp messages with fraudulent links. ‼️

The caller claims to be a doctor, sounds very polite and respectful, stating they know you from a Muslim WhatsApp group and that they would like to invite you to a call or another WhatsApp group.

*What to do:*

If you do receive a call or message, *DO NOT* provide any personal information, any numerical codes or click on any links. Politely decline and disconnect the call. Block the number and report it to WhatsApp. You can also report the incident to us.

*How to protect your account*

Set up 2 factor authentication on your WhatsApp account under account security settings. This protects your account with a 6 digit pin.

*How to recover*

If you do lose access to your WhatsApp, then you will need to recover your account requesting a new SMS code from WhatsApp direct to your phone. This blocks the Scammers from your account.
